CONTESTS FOR EVERYONE: (section at bottom to see contests for those age 16 and under)

Contest will appear on the fair's website at the date listed beside it. Each contest runs for 2 weeks. You will have approximately 1 week to upload your photo followed by 1 week to vote on the photos in that contest.

June 29 - Kindergarten to university, there are many "Graduates of 2020". How did your graduation happen? If you would like to honour your graduate, send a photo of the graduate or perhaps a sign that you have seen honouring a graduate.

July 6 - Your Favourite Photo.

July 13 - Babies, babies... We can't see you at our annual Baby Show but, you can show us your baby.

Jul 13 - "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby".... A photo of yourself, parent, grandparent, etc. as a baby. Provide a little history.

July 20 - Photo of your flower garden and, think outside the box. Perhaps your 'flower garden' is a planter or collection of pots that you have planted yourself.

July 27 - Submit a photo of your favourite antique. Tell us about it. Is it a family heirloom?

August 3 - "In the Kitchen" - What are you producing in your kitchen? i.e. canning, baking...what ingredients are you using? Have you tried new recipes in the past few months? Submit a photo and tell us a little about your experiences.

August 10 - What is THAT out in the field? What interesting crops do you see growing? What exactly is that? Be sure to tell us when you are submitting your photo.

August 17 - A photo of your handiwork, woodworking, etc. that you are most proud of and have finished in the past year.

August 24 - Photo of an antique tractor. Add a little history about it.

August 31 - "A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!" We'd like to see photos of your beautiful horse companions. If you don't have a horse, show us a photo of your drawing or painting of a horse.

September 7 - Show us a photo of your most colourful quilt or quilted item that you have made in the past year.

September 14 - A photo of your vegetable garden. Did you do anything different this year? Try out new vegetables?

September14 - What are your memories of Drumbo Fair? Upload a photo and brief description.

CONTESTS FOR AGES 16 AND UNDER

Contest will appear on the fair's website at the date listed beside it. Each contest runs for 2 weeks. You will have approximately 1 week to upload your photo followed by 1 week to vote on the photos in that contest.

July 6 - "Adventures in the Kitchen" - Upload a photo of what have you been cooking, baking, etc. 

July 13 - Photo of a craft, perhaps something new you have learned to do in the past few months.

July 20 - Photo of any living critter such as  frogs, toads, bugs, birds.

July 27 - Upload a photo of your pet - dressed up (and you can be too). If you don't have a pet, upload a photo of a  drawing you have made of a pet.

August 3 - Draw and colour your idea of a Covid-19, take a close up picture and upload it. You could instead make a Covid-19  craft, and submit that photo.

August 10 - Take a photo of your favourite garden flower. If you don't have a garden, you can draw and colour a picture of a garden flower. Be sure to name the flower when you are uploading your photo.

August 17 - Have you been out walking? Did you take a picture of an interesting natural find you discovered? Tell us what it is. We'd love to see it!

August 24 - A photo of your least favourite vegetable from your garden. Don't have a garden? Then just draw and colour a picture of a vegetable. Be sure to tell us what it is when you are uploading your photo.

August 31 - Do you have rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, game birds...send pictures. Don't have any of these,  just draw a picture of your favourite bird or rabbit. 

September 7 - Old McDonald has a farm...every year at the fair. Send a photo taken at the fair's Old McDonald's farm. If you don't have one, draw or send a photo of a farm animal that you would like to see in next year's Old McDonald's farm.

September 14 - Surprise us. Send a photo of something that makes you happy.
