IMG 8361cropAs the President of the Drumbo Agricultural Society, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 Drumbo Fair! Again this year, our team of dedicated volunteers have pulled together a wide range of “Simply Country, simply fun!” activities for you to enjoy.

The purpose of the Society, the organization which hosts the Drumbo Fair, is to provide people within the community the opportunity to celebrate and experience agriculture and rural living. I am confident that when you visit the fair this year, you will agree we have certainly achieved our goal!

If you are an annual, ‘go every year, never-miss-it’ fairgoer… welcome back, it will be great to see you again! If you have never been to the Drumbo Fair… welcome! I encourage you to come and see the many things our fair has to offer. I often say our little fair is the best-kept secret; newcomers are always surprised by the many things to see and do.

Our “One Price for All” admission of $13.00 is a great bargain for both children and adults. To list just some of the activities, our younger fairgoers can bounce on the inflatables, experience a pony ride, check out their prizes in the School Fair, climb on the straw bales, cheer on the dogs in the Dog Agility Show, see animals up close in Old MacDonald’s Farm, ride the Drumbo and District Heritage Society train, participate in the Chip Off the Old Block and Mom Calling Competitions, enter their pet in the Pet Show, sell their wares at the ‘Kidpreneur’ Market, and, new this year, be amazed by Simon Says the Juggler. The highlight for the children continues to be the finale each day: our ever-popular candy toss on the straw bales.

The list of entertainment for adults is just as long as that for the children. Some of the offerings include the Horse and Beef Shows, the Baby Show, a vintage tractor display, a Car Show, live music all day long on the stage, the Agricultural and Homecraft Exhibits, a Silent Auction, handicraft demonstrations, and, best of all…catching up with family and friends.

A reminder, without our many volunteers, we would not have a fair. Thank you so much to everyone who helps to make our fair so special, your efforts are truly appreciated. If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer, please reach out, you will be welcomed with open arms.

I look forward to seeing you at the fair!

Susan Elmes,

President, Drumbo Agricultural Society
