Appreciation Night 2010
President Susan Elmes welcomed all to the Drumbo Agricultural Society’s Appreciation Night on Friday, October 15th. Sponsors, board members, volunteers and the fair’s award winners gathered for a social evening. Slides featuring the 2010 fair were shown while guests enjoyed wine and cheese and other goodies.
The grand champion quilt was displayed along with posters promoting Drumbo Fair. All of these items advance to the District Fair competition held in early November.
Susan Elmes thanked the sponsors and presented Certificates of Appreciation to those at the Platinum and Gold level. Volunteers were recognized for their contribution. There are over 120 volunteers who work to make the fair so successful.
Presentation of plaques, awards and medallions followed. Presentations were made by Susan Elmes, President; Kathy Hughes, Vice-President and Virginia Dibble, Fair Ambassador.
