President’s Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 164th edition of the Drumbo Fall Fair!

Drumbo Fair has always been a part of my life. Early days were spent at S.S. #14, practicing our school yell and learning my left foot from my right so that our school could proudly march in the Drumbo Fair parade. The excitement of riding the Ferris wheel, eating colourful salt water taffy and trying one’s luck at the fish pond were all enjoyed at the fair. Later I became an exhibitor and eventually was persuaded to join the Agricultural Society. Years later, I’m still here!

As a member of the Drumbo Agricultural Society, I am very proud of the hard work and dedication of our directors, members, volunteers, and friends in bringing you an excellent family-friendly fair. Special thanks to our exhibitors and competitors, without you there would not be a fair. Sincere thanks to our ‘Friends of the Fair’ sponsors for your continued support and encouragement in maintaining such a wonderful country tradition.

From the Homecraft and School Fair exhibits, horse and cattle shows, Old McDonald’s Farm, outstanding entertainment, to our favourite cat and dog in the Pet Show, there is something to see and do for everyone.

Our fair theme this year highlights everyone’s favourite: Cats and Dogs. If this is your first visit to Drumbo Fair, a sincere welcome, and to those who faithfully come back year after year, thank you; enjoy your visit and take time to “Paws Awhile”.

I look forward to seeing you.
