• Registration 11:00 to 11:45 in the Pet Show area
• No entry fee
• All pets must be properly leashed or caged.
• All dogs and cats must have full vaccinations and be wearing a collar.
• Children to show their pets unassisted by an adult, however, each child and their pet must be under adult supervision.
• Pets are to be shown by children, 14 years and under
• Trophies for Best Cat & Best Dog will be presented at the Fair Appreciation Night, Friday, October 15, 2010

Pet Parade

Come to the fair with your special pet and join in the Pet Parade as you both go on a "walk-about" throughout the fairgrounds. Judging will take place for the best dressed owner and pet who best reflect this year's theme: "Come Celebrate!". Be creative. (Meet in the Pet Show area by the pavilion)

A. All Pets:

1. Best dressed Owner/Pet Combination representing "Come Celebrate". (see Parade above)
2. Pet in the best decorated vehicle or cage (see Parade above)

B. Cats:

3. Cat with shortest tail
4. Biggest cat
5. Fluffiest cat
6. Cat with Longest Tail
7. Most unusual coloured cat
8. Cat with the longest whiskers

TROPHY will be awarded to the BEST CAT for MOST POINTS in Section 3-8

C. Dogs

9. Tallest dog (ground to shoulder)
10. Shortest dog (ground to shoulder)
11. Longest ears
12. Dog with the biggest paws
13. Most unique trick
14. Dog with the most enthusiastic tail wag
15. Dog with most unusual markings

TROPHY will be awarded to the BEST DOG for MOST POINTS in Section 9-15

D. Rabbits/Hamsters/Gerbils/Guinea Pigs

16. Best Dwarf Rabbit
17. Most Colourful Rabbit 
18. Fluffiest Rabbit
19. Largest Rabbit
20. Most colourful Guinea Pig
21. Best matched pair of same animal
