I am honoured to welcome family, friends, neighbours and guests to the 2013 Drumbo Fall Fair.

Being the 2012-2103 Drumbo Ambassador has been such a great experience. This year has been a growing opportunity for me to get more involved with my community. My year began at the Harvest Carnival in August where I was crowned the 2012-2013 Drumbo Ambassador. My duties began at the 2012 Drumbo Fall Fair where I made many memories, from tossing candy to handing out ribbons at the horse and pet shows, talking to the children, families and neighbours of the village and seeing how the fair brings the community together for a fun filled weekend. The year continued with fundraising events such as the Grand Ole Opry, the Come Bloom with Us garden information day and the Elimination Draw. One of my favourite memories was attending the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies' convention in February at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. I met all the ambassadors from across Ontario. I learned lots from the guest speakers and made life long friends with the ambassadors. My next event is to compete in the Canadian National Exhibition's Ambassador competition where I look forward to representing Drumbo.

The 2013 fair theme is "Drumbo Fair - Udderly Amazing!" Drumbo Fair has always had a strong sense of a farming community - where families enjoy a weekend of memories and fun. So, I encourage everyone to come and take part in what the Drumbo Fair has to offer. You will have memories forever.
