All Horses enter Fairgrounds through South Gate - off Maitland St.

RULES

  1. All exhibitors must have a current Drumbo Agricultural Society (DAS) Membership. Entry Fee: 15% of winnings unless otherwise stated 
  2. No entry fee deducted or membership required for 4-H exhibitors unless entering other classes. Note: Must be two or more entries in each 4-H class or they will be combined.
  3. Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own liability insurance, and may be required to show proof
  4. No exhibitor may show more than two entries in Line Classes. Hitch classes 14-16, 18-20, 21-23 & 25-28: there must be two exhibitors (or more) in a class or breeds will be shown together.

Each exhibitor receives $5.00 for participation

  2. Intermediate Showman, ages 13 to 15 years
  3. Senior Showman, ages 16 to 21 years

  2. Junior Showmanship on line, ages 14-18 years Junior Showmanship on Line is sponsored by the Ontario Clydesdale Club. Prize money will be awarded at ringside.
  3. Three horses owned by one exhibitor

Best Heavy Horse

  1. Best Heavy Horse on the Grounds - for best Belgian, Clydesdale, Percheron or Shire Draft Horse on line. Sponsored by Heavy Horse Committee in memory of Lloyd Heldmann

HITCH CLASSES

Sections 12, 13, 17, 24 & 28 - All breeds show together

Hitch Classes 14-16, 18-23 & 25-27: There must be two exhibitors (or more) in a class or breeds will be shown together.

  2. Unicorn Hitch, all breeds, not necessarily owned by one exhibitor

  6. Lady Driver of a Light or Heavy Draft Team. Lady to be dressed appropriately with hat and gloves included and accompanied by another person.
