‘Local Fare at the Fair’ is intended to showcase a variety of produce grown or produced by local sources. Local Fare will run one day on Sunday, September 22, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Drumbo Fair.
The focus is education, samples available (if feasable) and sales. There is no cost to participate in this event. Please read carefully before submitting your application. Application deadline is September 6. All applications are subject to approval by Drumbo Agricultural Society.
Who Can Apply?
Do you grow or produce items that may include fruit, vegetables, honey, maple syrup, herbs, lavender, etc. Please ensure that items such as honey, maple syrup are labelled with your contact information. Any processed and packaged foods to be prepared in an inspected kitchen. Sorry, no goods that require refrigeration.
Getting Ready for Local Fare Day
You must supply your own pop-up tent. Tent must be secured. One 8’ table & 2 chairs will be provided, IF REQUESTED prior to September 22. Please have hand sanitizer on site.
Local Fare Day, Sunday, September 22
Enter fairgrounds through South Gate – off Maitland Street. Set-up to be completed by 9:00 a.m. on the Sunday morning and vehicles moved to a designated area and remain there until 4:30 p.m. Tear-down begins at 4:30 p.m.
