Want to know more about Clydesdales?  Do you enjoy watching them in the horse ring and would like to know more?  After the Draft Horse Show on Saturday, please join Liz at her trailer or come to the Horse Tent for an 'Everything But the Kitchen Sink' information session.  Bring your questions - Liz will share her experience and knowledge with you.

Liz Burrill is a third-generation Clydesdale breeder who has been active with her own herd of Clydesdales for 25 years.  When she's not at the barn she's an elementary school teacher.  She currently has 10 horses and is looking forward to the arrival of 2 foals in 2025.  Liz serves as a Director with the Ontario Clydesdale Club.

All the Things Google Doesn’t share About Clydesdales

At a time when all the knowledge in the known world is available in the palm of your hand, there are still a few things that need to come straight from the horse's mouth.  Bridles, shoes, britchen, tongues, carts, farriers, baby powder, bits, wagons, halters, nails, sulfur, soap, double trees, curbs, vets, hames, shafts, mineral oil, lines, spat, corn starch, nippers, tugs, unicorns, feathers, sawdust, hocks, flowers, and collars.  Some of this list of apparently random words relate to draft horses, in general, but many relate to directly to Clydesdales.  Find out how!
